Political Ad Design
I’ve spent over 8 years as a production designer for political ads. Sometimes simply fixing and aligning the design to a clients goals or completely overhauling the work to meet the customers needs.

Vote Nov 4th Campaign
A usual part of political ad design is the vote cards. With this one I helped with vectorizing the logo, placement of the graphic, typography, and spacing.

Get out the vote door hanger
Different layout for a get out the vote. This one involved preparation for automating some of the work over multiple locations. Also helped with copy edits and bullet art.

Negative Ad Sample
While working from a previous version for inspiration this one was one I worked on extensively. Including cutouts for both the apple and the target of the add as well as color selection and typography changes.

Positive ad
Helped out with typography paragraph styles, and bullet styles to keep the look consistent. As well as make it easier for others to edit over multiple changes.

Cutout Example
We went through about six different options and I was in charge of doing multiple cutout examples.

Form Example
This was a piece that had a mail portion and an ad. I built the form and design of the back initially and worked on a majority of the changes through the project.

Intensive Change job
Patience is an important part of the creative process. Working back and forth with the client to fit all the added goals and ideas that may come up. Above is one job that had to add elements like the unions and fit more copy at points.

Redesign
I’ve effectively redesigned documents that didn’t meet the clients initial goals. Working with a team to make sure we had the proper stock photo and then meeting the goal to make the text look like it is realistically on the labels.
